I'd say they were trying to build the story in the whole season and in doing that they took out the most important thing about the show that people want - Shockers, Fighting, Awesome Twist Scenes. The Witcher itself (on whom the show is based) is not even highlighted that much as is this girl Ciri . . . but despite this …They're having a lot of stuff going thru and have built up a definite plot for the next season.... which I'd say is quite predictable after watching the whole season . Overall if I rated Witcher Season1 8.5, I'd have to rate it 6.5 ..PS- All the Characters performed at their best.
