The Mario Bros movie is genuinely made with love, every artist, animator, composer must have been carefully chosen to make something that is all of Mario’s history wrapped into a 1 hour 32 minute experience. This movie took so long to be made but I’m glad it did, if it too this long to get something this good, I’ll wait an another decade for the sequel. I simply can not say how happy I am that all my years of playing mario games would pay off, when I was sitting in the cinema pointing out different references and Easter eggs. This movie really was something special. And it’s not because it has some deep plot. It’s because it’s just a classic Story of a good guy beating the bad guy, it didn’t need any real big plot twist or shocking revelations. It’s just pure fun. Which is what Mario has always been about. In short this film was perfect, not to a critic or a big movie buff, but to people who love Mario and video games. ( and hopefully kids who didn’t know what Mario ) Also Chris Pratt was actually good as mario … and ever other casting choice. (:

Definitely the best film of this year, without a doubt going down as the best Pinocchio film, even being put up against the Disney classic which was a major task to fulfil. This is the kind of films we get when we get a director who cares about their work.

Waited 6 years for this, was not disappointed
