Lola in the Mirror - I so wanted love it 10/10 and it had moments of nostalgia of Boy Swallows Universe. From someone who has grown up in Brisbane, Trent Dalton knows the people and the place and this is captured in Lola almost reminiscent from Love Stories (which is wow). Our most vulnerable people, real and authentic in their survival. At times it felt like it was written at different speeds and at times- disjointing. Though I loved it. I am in awe of how you capture each character and their narrative. Thank you as alway Trent! Solid 4 stars xxxx
