Another good novel by Kristin Hannah. Haven't read a bad one yet. Opens your eyes as to what our veterans have gone through. I thank them all for their service and their bravery.

Boring! Too much talk, no action. Too much planning. Got 1/2 way through it & just can't continue with it.

Wow, what a book. Right from the 1st chapter to the last, I couldn't put it down. A great history and story of our women who served in Vietnam.

I thought Julian & Rene took too many wrong turns & should have learned after the 2nd wrong turn to stop. Seemed a little unreal. The best part was the end, with Rene's daughter & the paintings.

It was slow at first but in the middle was very interesting. I only wish the ending was better.

Loved this book right from the beginning. History of the Dust Bowl and how the Americans fleeing from it came to the west, (Calif, Oregon, Washington). and how badly they were treated.

Great story, well written. The author puts you in the journey.
