!! LIKE A LIVE ACTION ANIME!!!! (....but Netflix didn't mess this one up)
I had my doubts based off of the vague trailer released by Netflix. Although I gave it a chance and I am very glad that I did. I was hooked from the start and stayed hooked even despite the obvious CGI effects once the first monster was introduced. Despite the obvious CGI and the overly repetitive playing of the same imagine dragons song, this show was great and I cannot wait until season 2 is released.
By the third episode I realized this horror was something pulled straight from my nightmares. Friends and foes alike. More like humans and monsters alike. Monsters rising from every corner that don't stay down no matter how many times you swing a bat. The writers through away any limitations in creating the monsters and it worked out well in their favor. The types of creatures brought forth have no limits in the forms they can appear in. This show stands out from the typical American horror series or movies. Frankly it looks down on them in a good way. If you need a good refresher from the exhausted horror movies this is definitely what you need. Once again. Leave it to the Koreans.
