Unless you read the author's note at the end, you might suspect that much of this is true. It is not. Cauchi barely addresses her stated purpose of what happened to Vincent's art after his death. Rather she presents a lvoe triangle. She says very little about Paris in the 1880s and less about art, because she trades in sensationalism, a famous name and mental instability. Would anyone read this book if it were titled Mrs Jones? Do not buy or read this. It is dreadful.
