It was a work of art. I found myself relating to Osamu Dazai in some parts of it. This book detailed the actions of someone who feels alienated and leads a life of shame. I didn't like a lot of Dazais' behaviours in the way he would have constant affairs and had no sense of responsibility. As I reached the end of the book though I began to empathise with him more. I would recommend this book because it is a great read with such deep meaning.
