I'm often one to get distracted watching films but White Noise sure had me glued to the screen. It felt like a genuine 80s movie and took me back in time. Impressive how they captured the cinematography styles so well, along with the set design, clothing, hair and make-up. It took a while for me to decipher where the story was going, and kept me wondering where we were going next. We delve into the human psyche of a fear we often feel internally without revealing to anyone, and how others would feel and their thought processes surrounding it once revealed. The dialogue was underwhelming at times considering the situations, although I did the family dynamics and characters interesting which more than made up it. Then throw in some good apocalyptic style action scenes and some comedy to soften it all...made for a good movie night. The ending seemed a little undramatic but the musical number was a lot of fun, ending on a high.
I don't normally write reviews so apologies if this isn't written the best.
