I had only saw a couple of episodes of Slam Dunk before I had saw this movie so, obviously I was spoiled quite a lot. But, DAM it was definitely worth it even to the last penny. I would Even watch it twice just to experience it again. What’s so good about it was we got to see a fair amount of screen time for several players instead of really focusing on only one (for me at least). Plus the body movements seemed real to the point you could compare it to NBA players (exaggeration). The best part for me was Ryota Miyagi’s backstory where I got to like understand more of him because I didn’t know much about him. Overall 5/5 you should definitely watch it even if you had never watched or read Slam Dunk.
