There is too much effort placed on making Ted Bundy’s character appear innocent in an attempt to surprise the audience at the end. Had they stayed accurate to the full proceedings I could excuse this, but Efron’s emotion and Ted Bundy’s actions (in this film) seem altered to convince us he couldn’t have done it. They would have been better off showing real time, what Ted was doing with Liz and what he was doing behind her back. At least that would have helped the audience feel as sick as the world did at the time this was happening. I understand the lack of actual shown murders was an effort to avoid upsetting those effected by Ted bundy’s actions, but this seems like a mockery making him seem like the victim till the last seconds of the film. I don’t understand the need for this film.
