If you go into this film expecting a straight up remake of the original film, you're doing yourself a disservice and won't be able to just enjoy the musical for what it is. A movie musical adapted from the stage play adapted from the movie. And for that, its GREAT! It's not trying to replace the original film, its just trying to have fun with the musical and it does a wonderful job of that. All of the fun catch phrases from the movie are there and presented in a fresh often slick way. Really enjoyed the way Tina Fey gave "fetch" its just due. 95% solid cast (the fella who played Aaron had zero chemistry with Renee Rapp or the gal who played Cady and seems really wooden). Other than that... yes, I do go here, I adored this musical. Definitely worth a rewatch!!
