I adore the concept of ‘biopic films,’ so I was obviously intrigued by the premise of this movie. Overall, I think the movie is visually stunning - the way they represent the functioning Oppenheimer’s mind and the processes of making the bomb is put together beautifully (I kid you not for like 5 minutes after the movie I wanted to pursue physics as a career - this is coming from a person who was indifferent towards physics lol). However, despite all this, the film after the bomb explosion is kinda meh. After that scene, for like the next hour I was going ‘when is this gonna end’ as it just kept on going with miscellaneous dialogue and scenes that I didn’t really care about because I had already went past the climax. The last hour is kind of stretched out unnecessarily, so that’s why I deducted a point. Worth a watch? Sure, if you like biopic films,

Tbh my first romance anime and I'M GLAD I picked this. Really fleshed out characters (especially Kamiya, oh damn...) and Izumi and Shikimori make such a sweetheart couple. The side characters are SO GOOD too (like, I LOVE Hachimitsu, Inuzuka cause he's really best friend material, and Nekozaki cause she just oozes fun and cool). Even characters who are rarely shown you love (like Shikimori's brother, Izumi's parents, etc.) And when I say these characters are complex, I mean it---like their personas are simple to digest but are really intriguing if you dig deep. Further, the romance isn't corny, it just makes you smile; even if the characters exhibit inexperience they are so funny when they do. 10/10: HIGHLY recommended if you need a break and just need to breathe and laugh for a sec.
