The final season of house of cards was the best. Kevin Spacey’s sins aside, he was an interesting character on house of cards. However it is so much more titillating, fantastical, and amazing the way they did a complete gender flip with the final season of the show. Frank is gone, assassinated/died. And yet it shows how even after death the woman in his life his wife who is now the president still has to live in his shadow. She cannot escape Frank Underwood in the first five episodes. It shows America’s greatest fears about having a woman in power. This is ultimately so much more entertaining than watching a corrupt male president in real life or fiction. The final season of the show actually succeeds in doing some groundbreaking television that has never, ever been seen before. Never before has this storyline ever been written or told. Even if you didn’t watch the first five seasons you must watch this one!
