I have seen the whole series and was familiar with book and the Mike Nicols film. I thought it was a triumph. Beautiful cinematography and terrific script, direction, (Clooney’s episodes as director absolutely stand out), and a uniformly brilliant job of acting. As an actor writer director myself I am tough to please and my partner Karen is a stern critic. We thoroughly enjoyed what was a rare gem on TV.
