Awful, gave it a fair shot since some shows start slow, but it never gets good, the writing is terrible, and there are so many cheesy/cringey lines and non-sensical decisions, etc. I for one welcome an original approach, but what's the point if it's not good at all? I was rooting for it as a fan of the franchise and I'm very disappointed.

This is a slasher horror film specifically, it does what its supposed to do, if you like slashers, gory senseless horror (a slasher) go right ahead you'll have a blast, if you need more content based horror, then maybe its not for you. If you dont like blood and gore don't watch it.
