Waaaaay too much character development! Script waaaaay too convoluted! Sigh,plain and simple? The film dragged and lagged! The jokes were cringingly flat and misplaced! The actors and actresses portrayals were all"spot on"! They all are professionals so they obviously brought their "A-game" thus,earning their paycheck. Direction? poor Chloe...she tried. And yes,to me ..even the post credit scenes"sucked"! True, it was cool seeing Pup the Troll but still...and it's no surprise Blade is on the horizon... yes,yes...I would not be a true Marvel aficionado if I did not give my honest opinion, The Eternals as a film goes,is horrible! The Eternals as part of the MCU canon,is necessary. There, as much as it pains me to say;as far as MCU phase goes, 1.Shang Chi: Legend of the 10 rings 2.Black Widow Of course Spiderman is obviously going to be #1...and Dr. Strange #2 and Thor #3 which will allow us to forget the bumpy opening of phase 4! Can't wait for that! That way I can forget this horrible phase 4 beginning!
