10/10 best mech game out there. The story is 10/10 and the world building they did was incredible. I really love feeling like how the enemy mechs will talk to you and their colleagues during the fight making it feel much more immersive. Also the lines they say heavily expand on the story telling. I love the fast paced combat that this game brings, it’s makes winning battles feel like winning wars and it feels so much better. I also really really really love how much of an improvement I’ve made over the span of the game on how I control my mech and how I understand the parts that I use. Everything in the customization tweaks your mech in big or little ways, the choice is up to you! I love the Nest, the nest is probably where I spend most of my time now after I beat my first run of the game and played the arena for those sweet sweet upgrades. (definitely do all of that if you haven’t already that stuff is awesome). All the people that are leaving a 1 star review are mostly expecting this to be a Dark Souls type of game, where the combat is much slower pace and most of the time, you’re just dodging telegraphed hits to punish with 2 or 3 hits. The combat in this game is much much faster pace, you have to constantly move around and fire your weapons to keep the pressure on your enemy and build that stagger bar in order to do big damage. About 75% to 85% of the game, I used a lightweight mech with double songbirds, pulse blade, and Gatling Gun. (That was until I discovered the Zimmerman Shotguns and the Moonlight blade and stun cannons) Overall, I had an amazing experience and I really hope the people that put the game down at the first boss fight come back around and see the game for what it is! :^)
