You have to stay with this and adjust to the directing style which is unusual. None of the characters are particularly likeable at the beginning but this is a clever and twisty plot !. Difficult to actually review it without spoiling it but i loved it and it triggered many conversations with friends who had also watched it . Kevin Kline steals the show for me , superb as an old man stuck resolutely in his time line of grief.

Predictable and boring, the only star was the scenery.

I loved this film , enjoyed it whilst watching but it stayed with me for a long time . Uncomfortable, scary , hopeful all at the sane time . A refreshing change from the usual apocalyptic themes of total chaos and disaster from which there is no return. I also get the less favourable reviews below and why the ending is deemed ‘soft ‘ , but it’s open to interpretation too .

Loved it Held my attention al the way through,superb acting and a story worth telling

The way this tense thriller unfolds is unsual and it's this that keeps you gripped. I very much enjoyed.

The Lee Child books are not really my cup of tea but I sometimes have read them when my husband has finished with the books ! We both agree this series is excellent.Reacher is perfect , a tough and ruthless force for good but with a tiny fragment of human vulnerability which makes him so likeable. Definitely would want to be on his side !.
