Lunar Panda

52 episodes of extremely bland tasteless mush. No hate to Kitty or Sanrio themselves. I love Sanrio's characters but this show is just a bunch of nothing. I know kid's shows can just be simple fun and there's nothing wrong with playing it safe but this isn't really worth anyone's time. Characters are mostly one note, Kitty and My Melody are essentially the same character. Badtz-Maru seems to be the only character they put effort into. CGI is passable. You can tell what's what but that's about it. It's not really a world I would like to visit. Voice acting and music is pretty boring. I'm not sure if any of the VAs worked on anything else or if they worked on anything before but this definitely feels like an easy paycheck. There is a song in every episode and a majority of them are just not very memorable. Maybe there's one or two that stick out but that's still not much. All in All: This is a bargain bin series that should stay in the bargain bin. You want a good Sanrio experience, go watch one of the 90's Sanrio OVAs.
