Saw it and was stunned at how well all the dialog was written. The writing wasn't the usual SCRIPT 101 dialog. It was clever and not pulled out of the ONE LINER box. Even when you thought it was going to go there the almost ONE LINER was turned into a brilliantly written piece.
The performances were great. It did follow a plot line that's been used before but it was cleverly done with masterful wit. Hats off to Mindy, a job well done.
What makes a repeated plot story so bad is the one liners and cliché' executions, the unbelievable turn of events that wouldn't happen that way. What Mindy did was make this story a lot more believable.
