This is still to date the Best TV Series in Western Animation. The Characters and the Power of Storytelling blend to perfection unlike anything I have ever seen. Especially in Book 3, it was Flawless from Episode to Episode. Book 4 followed strong right after. Also worth mentioning the Music scores in the show are marvelous masterpieces, extremely beautiful and well arranged. The pieces add so much weight and dimension to the story. Avatar: The Last Airbender is also a really good series and is recommended to watch first before viewing Korra. The world definitely needs more shows like the ones from the Avatar Universe. Korra is highly recommended if you like high quality Action, Suspense, Color, Music, Storytelling & Animation. -Carl

So glad I randomly picked up that little comic book in Rite Aid back in 2006 that had Aang on the cover with his friends. I had no idea what the show was, I didn't even know it was a show. After reading up I realized that the show's first season was already out and some of the dvd's were at Blockbuster. I watched the first episode "The Boy in the Iceberg" and was HOOKED!!! The storytelling, the martial arts, the characters, music, and colors were entrancing. It was so good it inspired my venture into animation production. And later it's incredible sequel further fueled my passion to create an incredible world of my own in which I hope to share one day. This show demonstrates the power of pure friendships, the effects discrimination carries based off war-torn societies, facing your fears, and finding your own destiny. A very special show indeed. There is nothing quite like it in Western Animation but Korra of course. But each show stands on it's own pedestal.

For - The Legend of Korra: Ruins of the Empire Part One (Only) Great follow up to the end of the series. Kuvira was just such a fascinating character. A look into her past is just the type of story we need to help further establish such a formidable person. The art style for the book is really strong and nice. It looks just as good as the animated show. Guan will never amount to the power Kuvira had over the Earth Empire. Although his brainwashing experiment is interesting, kind of reminds me of the Dai Li back in ATLA. But moreover, it's so nice to see a nation that was ruled by monarchy for so long take a democratic approach. It's a good step towards modernization. But of course it won't be an easy road to get there! Great Book! Strong Writing! Strong Art! Democracy! Korrasami! Kuvira! And Toph?! Need I say MORE!!!! 10/10
