Disappointing due to Lily James' flaky, tearful and over neurotic portrayal of the second Mrs de Winter. I was expecting a more subtle, menacing undertone to the film as the true nature of her husband's first marriage unfolded. With a different lead female it would have carried more punch and be worthy of the great classic it is.
