The CGI was ok, the nature locations are beautiful, and they nailed how I always envisioned the New Pretty City… but everything else was a big let down. I’m not sure why so many reviewers say it was true to the books. The general premise of going to the Smoke, surgeries, and manipulation are similar to the book, but the comparison stops there.
