Wasn't aware you could review films on Google which is cool. Looking at the aggregate scores I think this gets much closer to the "Truth" then anything like IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes which seems to have been bought out by the film industry some years back when it started giving way too many films a high score. My review: Does not live up the hype they made around it. Inconsistent, poorly explained and executed narrative. The movie tries to be a combination of Zodiac and Sinister, 2 excellent dark films, and fails at both. The only saving grace was Nicholas Cage's performance as the title character. However, it wasn't enough to save what was a movie with an ill concieved narrative: The script needed more time. 3 / 5
