Nic was doing the folk circuit during the '70's/'80's,this album was released just after a bad traffic accident which destroyed his memory of all his previous material. His guitar playing was something to behold,using mainly open tunings.Canadeeio was very close to an open C tuning and although I was able to decipher and play most of it I'm pretty sure that C tuning was not quite what he used. He was very unique both in his adoption of open tunings and his delivery of what in the hands of lesser mortals,would be very dry not to say boring. I miss his playing but do console myself with this album.....................
