This game is great, I love the gameplay and the design. The biggest problem comes with the version of the game that you purchase, I have had the new xbox series X since before Christmas of 2020 and got COD: Cold War a bit after, I have played the game for a few months with no problem until about a week ago when suddenly the game would no longer open. I looked for solutions and found that I now HAVE to purchase an upgrade key to play on my console when it is only optimization upgrades. I find this ridiculous as I have played for months with no problem and now I have to spend more money to play. It is true I bought the newer console for the better hardware but I feel I payed for the optimization by buying the console. I should not have to keep paying for the better hardware I already own. The optimization should not be something you have to pay for by the game. You pay for it when you receive the console!
