I have never been this shaken by a movie before. It's not about the gore or the violence, it's about sheer evil and immorality of Jack's actions that almost made me throw up. Anyone who enjoys watching psychological portraits of pathological personalities will find this movie fascinating. Lars is truly masterful when it comes to dissecting human psyche.

Made me cry from happiness and I never wanted it to end. Probably the best children's movie in a long time. Pure imagination! And the songs were absolutely delightful!

Vol. 1 was simply breathtaking and in a strange way cathartic. I couldn't wait to watch Vol. 2 but it went in a direction of much more vile and disgusting pornography, and I simply could not watch it. 5/5 for the first volume though.
