The movie was bad. Save your money and time. A story that could have been told in one hour and thirty minutes was stretched out to 3 hours. Loud explosive unnecessary short scenes inserted every 10 to 20 minutes very annoying. Yes, I know the story is about the development of the atomic bomb, but these inserts were not the way to emphasize the point. Even the explosion of the bomb later in the movie was poor in visual effect and sound Dialogue was at times difficult to hear clearly. Cillian Murphy was a good choice to play Oppenheimer. All the other actors were just okay and even poor choices. The movie has numerous short bursts of scenes depicting loud fiery exp;lotions. Unnecessary and extremely annoying. Had to repeat that. The length of the movie was torturous to endure. I recall all the hype and promotion of the movie “DUNKIRK”. It was a bad movie in every way possible. A real dud. Oppenheimer is also a dud. The woke left movement in this country just could not hold back to make President Truman look bad in a very short scene. Truman was a good president, especially considering the way he came into office. It just does not end. It is very rare to see a real good movie with good acting today. The only positive is you do understand the mental anguish Oppenheimer endured because of his being an important part of the development of nuclear weapons. It had to be excruciating for him even though the purpose was to end a costly war in human lives. I was really looking forward to seeing a good movie only to be disappointed once again. Bill N
