Donna Lutes

I love this series so much and I was beyond excited to hear it was finally going to be made as a series. I was stricken immediately by the wokeness of the writing as the dragon reborn can ONLY be a man!!! That is the center of the entire storyline. And I'm all for diversity, but when a small village that rarely ever sees outsiders is as diverse as a commercial, it loses its integrity. It is also moving sooooo fast that you don't get to enjoy the characters that Jordan spent so much time creating so that you could understand who and what they truly are. I just finished the 4th episode and will continue to watch just because I have waited so long to see it on screen. The writers need to read the books and get a feel of what this series is all about. I think Robert Jordan would be disappointed, however.
