Fabulous biography of an amazing and fearless woman. It includes a great deal of information about the era which is very helpful. It also highlights just how much men seem to need to control women, body and soul. Especially body. Very, very timely.

Yet another instance of a woman doing something extraordinary while men try to take the undeserved credit. I wonder how many other brilliant women have been lost to history this way. Probably a lot.

Gorgeous cinematography but about halfway through the movie I realized "I'm tired of male bull***t". Which left the rest of the movie less enjoyable and also proved why I'd had that realization.
