I enjoyed La La Land and The Greatest Showman (more recent musicals I've seen). I just can't figure out what was so good about this? I thought it was really difficult to watch. I tried multiple times and could not get past 30 minutes. University of Shiz? The saying popularized by Snoop dog comes to mind. Seriously? Cringe! Our standards as a society have definitely diminished if so many have enjoyed this trash.

So he was basically hallucinating the whole time. What kinda drugs was he on?

Mehhhh... Took wayyyy too long for the story to develop. The "Chinese" agents speak really bad Mandarin and they also have the Chinese agents speaking Cantonese. Cantonese is the language spoken in Hong Kong and Macao. Agents from China would unlikely be speaking Cantonese. But at least the spoken Cantonese was accurate. It's okay if you have nothing else to watch.

As an American born of Chinese descent, I was very glad to hear about this show. It took this long from the release date for me to finish it. It was all over the place. Stick to one story line. What the hell did I just watch? What a disappointing ending and frankly a waste of time. Did not enjoy it at all. The only part that I thought was pretty nostalgic is when they played the theme song for for that old Chinese soap opera starring Chow Yun Fat so they get an extra star for that. But this was pretty weak.

Did not watch it. Read the Wiki page. About 20 years ago, I dated a cantonese girl and her niece was dating a Vietnamese guy. I'm sure her father disapproved and was very vocal as he spoke negatively towards me to my mother in a rather brash, arrogant manner. I assume he spoke this way towards the boyfriend of his daughter. Well one morning while he was at home, someone rang the doorbell. When he opened the door, someone fired a gun and blew his brains out. It was the Vietnamese guy. His daughter did not seem distraught whatsoever. I don't know what happened to them but I'm sure she was in on it.

this movie makes me instantly tired... i've tried to watch it like 5 times and I keep falling asleep within minutes.. i'm not even 40 minutes into it...

Extremely corny. I regret that I ever wasted 2.5 hours watching this. First one was better. It's basically a 2 hour lead up to a very disappointing ending. I am not sure if it was intentional, but I cringed each time the guy who played Max Lord took the screen. All I could think of was a shady used car salesman. And that armor from the greatest warrior taken apart in 30 seconds. Mehhh....

Really like this show! Even though the more I watch, the more I'm realizing that most of these celebrity/competition chefs seem self-absorbed, narcissistic, and have a desperate need for validation. With that said, it's still fun to watch.

If you don't care about plot, subplot, storyline, or good ideas, this might be up your alley. Special effects only can do so much for a movie. Superman can easily kill Batman with his laser eyes, just like he killed the two people that were hanging next to Bruce Wayne when he was captured. But why do that? There's two more hours to fill. And with these two at each other's throats and one is ready to kill the other, "Martha" is faintly whispered. Martha's my mother's name too! What a coincidence! Now I don't want to kill you. Let's be friends because our mothers' names. I can't believe these people got paid to write this. Hey DC, I'll write some cheesy scenes for you as well and you can pay me what you pay these guys. Gimme a break!

My mom was a very hard working Chinese woman who married the laziest Chinese man alive and moved to SF in the late 60's (where I was eventually born in the 70's). I grew up with the work ethics of my mother I learned from watching my mother to work as hard as you can, for as long as you can, to make every minute count. Then there's my father. I really don't know anyone with less desire to work than him. Being an employer for over 15 years now, I understand both sides. However, I'm siding with the person who CREATED JOBS for the JOBLESS! No one forced you to work there. In fact, most of you signed up to work with great enthusiasm after not being able to find a job for years. And then you want to unionize? How ungrateful! Be thankful you have a job. Work hard and show your employer you are worth the wages you are making. If you go above and beyond, you will most likely be noticed and rewarded. If you only give 60% effort and want double what you're making, you have a misplaced sense of entitlement. I'm glad to see workers like you are being replaced by robots!
