I really loved the album. Some songs are happy with a sad message, while others are sad, also with a sad message (Looking at you, "Pretty Venom (Interlude)").
I personally set "Wake Up, Sunshine", the title track, as my morning alarm because it works, and I also love the song.
My favourite songs on the album are "Clumsy", "Wake Up, Sunshine" as well as "Pretty Venom (Interlude)".
For some songs, they seem to have gone to their roots, while others have a whole different and unique sound.
I was partial to some of the songs at first ("Safe", "Favorite Place", "Pretty Venom" and "Melancholy Kaleidoscope"), but eventually, they grew on me. Though I mildly disliked "Pretty Venom (Interlude)" at the beginning, I eventually came to love it as I do now.
I may be a little biased, as I've listened to almost all of All Time Low's music, and they rank number two on my favourite bands list, but these songs really changed how I felt in the year, and ultimately made the music I listen to a bit happier and upbeat.
If you haven't given All Time Low a listen, then I recommend listening to this album, as it has all the aspects of past ATL as well as their new sound.
