Emma Stone emulates the story that has long gone unknown about what turned Cruella into Cruella DeVil so seamlessly, so eloquently, so articulately, it’s a “must watch again...and again”. The acting, the not-overbearing-narration, the cinematography, the fashion, the suspense, the wonderment- every ounce of the 134 minutes are de(vi)lightfully captivating. This is the best Disney live-action remake yet, hands-down! From beginning to end, the story/plot/prequel leads perfectly into what we know as 101 Dalmatians. My only qualm throughout Cruella is the CGI quality of the dalmatians. They’re well done but not done very well. I can’t do it better myself but... it could just be better, I think. 4.7/5
