Though I did not watch the movie I read the short passage and left me wondering why people still decide to live within this barbaric/ backwards town, I also wonder if this is where the reaping ceremony of the hunger games derivates from. I found this story odd, lengthy, and shocking. 2 stars for creativity and originality. (This rating is for the short story because I couldn't find a place to review it).
