Certainly well written and subtle in an artistic handling of Regrets and Depression, a subject of interest to many in a world population experiencing great changes. I read also The Pact by Thomas Keneally which has some parallels in story line and much older characters considering life’s Stress, however, the imaginative and lightly philosophical treatment written by Matt Haig has a far better life affirming ending, which sooths our confusion with possibilities, realising a multi dimensional state of Being ourself. Excellent piece of work.
