Nothing about this show is faithful to Tolkien's works. It's a hot-mess, mix-mash of injecting woke modern day politics into a medieval setting, perverting the lore and history of Middle-Earth, and insipid, vile, toxic actors/actresses of the show attacking the fans. If the rumor is correct, they actually made Elrond gay which the sheer hubris and gall of the showrunners to turn what is a masterpiece, into a pile of burning garbage much in the same way a bratty edgy teenage goes on a tantrum and ruins Mona Lisa painting. Elrond is and has always been married to Galadriel's daughter and together, they had a child called Arwen. Galadriel was never a warrior as her presence in Lothlórien forest was required to ward off evil or darkness with the power of her Ring, Nenya. Without her there, Lothlórien forest would lose its splendor and fall. There has never been a black elf on Middle-Earth. Tolkien made it clear that they were the "fairest" of all races and even described their appearance in great detail. The very word "Elf" quite literally means "White" which comes from Proto-Germanic therefore elves can be translated as “the white ones". The less said about the cultural vandalism of dwarf women and hobbits, the better. Then there's Gandalf who was not present in the 2nd Age. There is so much wrong with this show, but oh well, at least they ticked all the boxes for the "diversity" hires, right? Disgusting!

If I had the option, I'd give this zero stars. This hits a new low with wokeness. As the saying goes, get woke go broke.
