Immaculate is seriously scary! The story unfolds with unpredictable, nail-biting twists and turns. A young novice (nun who hasn’t taken her vows yet) travels to Rome to live in a beautiful old but isolated convent. She’s immediately befriended by a wise-cracking, worldly novice who used to be prostitute. After she disappears, a young, angry nun, assigned to watch over her tries to kill her instead! The novice takes her vows and that’s when the film really takes off when the nun, who is a virgin discovers she’s pregnant and her pregnancy is treated as a miracle and the supposed second coming of Christ! Don’t want to spoil the rest! This film had great writing, a scary, modern twist, really good acting and an unpredictable ending! I’d give this film a 10+!!!
