The story is intriguing, if not engaging. The special effects are amazing. The acting is solid. The character development... I couldn't latch on to any character. Each time I started to love a character, the screenplay yanked away the attachment. I almost gave it a three. The gorgeous submerged Miami scenery gave it an extra star.
