The one star is for the scenery. Plot was contrived, corny and completely unrealistic. Entitled, spoiled, belligented, but beloved children with an immature, unstable mother. She doesn't pay the rent, and you are clearly supposed to side with the mother and her feckless family, rather than the native Grecians. They made their landlord a voluptuous, murderous Grecian goddess, so apparently being a bad child (posing as a 'great single mother') is A-OK if you are entitled and pretending to be an adult, and have an 'important' entitled family in England. There was so, so much that was a far cry from anyone's reality. Add in poor treatment of animals, and so much more. Could've watched nothing at all and been more entertained. Should've read the books - they had to be so much better. A HUGE amounts of unanswered questions and gaping plot holes. Bleh!!!
