The first half is engaging, with a superbly crafted hostel sequence that stands out as one of the filmโs highlights. Thalaivarโs style is in full form, and Lokeshโs portrayal of the world will definitely be a treat for his fans.
Soubin delivers an exceptional performance โ after Rajinikanth, itโs Soubin and Shruti Haasan who truly carry the film. Their roles are memorable and well-etched, while most of the other characters fail to make a lasting impact.
The major letdown comes in the climax, which feels flat and underwhelming. Another personal disappointment is that the movie is not part of the LCU โ and there were plenty of opportunities where it could have been woven in seamlessly.
Verdict: A must-watch for Thalaivar and Lokesh fans for its first half and standout performances, but temper expectations for the ending.
