David Davis-Van Atta

One of the most fascinating films I’ve ever seen, and one of the deepest in meaning for me. I was utterly struck by it visually, as well as by the story. Flattened into to my seat. Still, it took me until years later that I came to understand the ending scenes. When I finally realized their meanings, I was once again swept away, akin to 2001’s visual ending itself, into a powerful understand that I wouldn’t have gotten as a teenager when I first saw it. It remains unforgettably potent for me to this day (I’m 73).
