Grand Romantic is Nate Ruess's first album on his own without fun. or The Format. I immensely enjoyed it. If you are into a little bit faster and louder songs then I would recommend AhHa and Great Big Storm from this album. I love both of these songs. Most of the other songs are a lot slower and quieter, but still enjoyable. Ruess ventures very far from the sound of fun., so if that's what you're looking for you should definitely still try it out, but it might not be for you. However, contrary to what I have just said, I am a huge fan of fun.'s albums and I also enjoyed this.
