Dawn of the Dead is a very fun watch if you’re into zombie apocalypse films. It doesn’t waste hardly any time getting into the action and has a pretty killer opening. The cast’s performance’s aren’t bad at all and the characters are genuinely fun to watch. Zombies in this film are actually threatening most of the time as well as fairly frightening. Gore is certainly apparent throughout the movie, just as it should be. Overall the film doesn’t really do anything that hasn’t been done before, though it without a doubt checks all the boxes for being a damn good zombie flick and will leave you satisfied.
