Loved it. My first introduction to the Warhammer 40k universe and it definitely won’t be my last. I love the combat; addictive, fun, and gruesomely satisfying. The campaign can feel pretty short (completed it in less than a day) and the narrative plots aren’t that engaging. What is though are the beautiful and breathtaking set pieces. The atmosphere of the war and brotherhood between the soldiers is what I found most compelling (after the gameplay). I have yet to try the other two game mods (PvE and PvP) but so far it’s my personal GOTY. Side note: the game is pretty easy, I played through the whole game on normal difficulty and never died once… It’s not necessary a bad thing though since I think this kind of gameplay should be satisfying over challenging, but it is something to keep in mind when buying the game.
