Severance is all mystery, no payoff. Every episode feels like itโs just teasing the next, but when you get there, nothing really happensโjust more slow, boring buildup. The characters barely react to major events, making it hard to care. And just when something finally seems interesting, it ends on a ridiculous cliffhanger that doesnโt even make sense in the next episode. By the end of the season, I felt like Iโd been strung along for nothing.
