I love this show. To the few people who are complaining that the depictions aren’t 100% accurate: you might want to keep with watching the history channel. It says right in the beginning of the show that certain characters and conversations places etc. have been altered for cinematic purposes...,just like hundreds and hundreds of other TV shows and movies!!! I mean, c’mon it’s TELEVISION, not a graduate level history course! That being said: it’s Excellent Television!! I have to admit that I had a very negative opinion of Epix because I feel like they’re boosting it up to try and replace Starz with whatever is going on behind the scenes at Xfinity. I certainly don’t want trade Epix for Starz; but I love this show. It takes the sting out of the possibility of losing Starz which I’ll end up having to get from Netflix or some other streaming source. I would’ve loved to have watched this show when I took critiquing mass media as a Broadcast and Cinematic Arts major at Central Michigan University. In my humble opinion: the acting (Forest Whittaker rocks!!) the writing, the directing, are all superb!! To the naysayers: “STOP DRINKING THE ‘Hatorade’ already!!”
