I just loved how realistic the movie was, in terms of it's cinematography, ambience and action. One of the things i noted (spoiler): the protagonists' RPG was a dud, which is rare in hollywood. Also loved how it portrays what actually happens in war; this being one of the few war movies I've watched in which all the heroes don't miraculously survive to the end.
