From a professional perspective this film is a wonderful experience, especially if you are seeing it for the first time, however, if one has seen the original there are certain crucial scenes that have been left out. Eg. When simba gets hit over the head and is told that it's in the past, and when he finally fills his father's paw print at the end scene. These moments are critical information and valuable lessons. It is the responsibility when recreating any powerful and inspirational film to remain true, down to the last and final detail, and NEVER to remove any important details such as these no matter the cost. Add if one must, but never take, nor mold any political, nor impulsive behavior into such a classical art.
