I enjoyed this so much. Heard performed brilliantly in this: starting off as an uptight, posh (almost white-saviour-like), so unlikeable that she becomes likeable! Of course, this is a front. As she and Martin slowly form a bond, her compassion and determination take centre stage. Love the contrast of the red outfit at the start to make her stand out so obnoxiously, then the white blouse and blue skirt to show how she has integrated herself into the family. Zaini, who played Martin, was subtle yet enthralling.
I believe that Martin is meant to be autistic. I work with a lot of autistic people (from 3 to 35 years of age), and I really appreciated seeing so many adults actively work to protect Martin, and Grace especially believing in him, despite the stable incident.
