Walked out as bored- where’s the suspense? Overblown. Horror is more scary if hinted at not explicit. Sleepy Holliw and Van Helsing much more enjoyable riffs in the same themes.

Dissappointed, overblown house of horror shenanigans not the icy build up of suspense that Agatha excels in. Many fine actors and overstuffed with luscious settings but a surprisingly tedious film. Think Don’t Look Now for how to do fear in Venice.
